ALMELUND APPLE FESTIVAL

THE ALMELUND APPLE FESTIVAL
is held the third Sunday in September each year on the site of
Amador Heritage Center Museum and Swedish Immigrant Log Farm. 

We use this event to teach children of all ages about history in a fun way!

 

The Apple Festival is held the third Sunday of September from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In order for us to plan future festivals - we need more volunteers!    Contact us to get involved!   
Three/Four meetings a year plus volunteering the weekend of the event!

This event is geared toward educating children about life in the past—in a way so they don’t even know they’re being educated!  It’s a day of family fun for children of all ages.  Bring your family and friends!

NOTICE:  Due to the close proximity of events and attendees we do not allow pets on the site during the Apple Festival.  Service animals are required to be on a leash.

  • Buy apples to bring home.
  • and much, much more.
Join us for the arts and crafts show, a piece of great apple dessert and stay for the afternoon. Entertainment all day.  The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  It is sponsored by the Friends of the Amador Heritage Center and your donation of a couple hours of time is appreciated!

Apple Festival donations have paid for all site improvements including reconstruction and moving of three log cabins, a log granary, log barn and horse barn!  An amazing accomplishment!  Recently these donation have paid for the new statues in our village along with part of the well and picnic shelter!   Thanks for the support you have shown during the last 25 years!
